  I used 10.4.8 JaS SSE3 only, then upped with KoolKal 10.4.9. All works after a fresh install from 10.4.8 JaS SSE3, except for the NIC which I had to add the PCI Device ID on one of the kext. On my previous config also using the same HW, I started out from 10.4.5 then incremented up to 10.4.9, all using JaS upgrades and patches and experienced no problem at all.
